Hello world and welcome to my personal website! This is where you will find all my personal information and updates on all things JR. I will try to post a weekly BLOG article so that you can know up-to-the-minute information on everything from my health status to my business goings on.

I also have a contact me page that you can use to reach out to me or sign up for my monthly newsletter where I will recap the month (good or bad). And don’t worry, I will protect your contact info with my life….I hate SPAM just as much as you do.

Oh, and I’ve also created a YouTube channel that you check out. Or, simply wait for a weekly or monthly update here as I will be posting my videos on my personal site here as well…….hopefully on a regular basis.

As most of you already know, in 2017 I was diagnosed with stage 3c colorectal cancer and given 6-9 months to live (if I did nothing) so, I spent the last year and a half battling cancer and was finally victorious in August of 2018. I am now considered a cancer survivor….woohoo!

However, I am now being watched like a hawk to make sure cancer doesn’t pay me a second visit. I now have to do regular follow-ups (blood labs, scans and exams) every six months and a yearly colonoscopy (for the next five years).

I’m also paying the price (side-effects) for battling cancer. I now have very bad neuropathy on my tongue and in my hands and feet. I walk with a cain now and that helps tremendously as it helps take the pressure off my feet when walking…especially in the winter.

I also had to learn how to use the bathroom again (potty training sucked)….I know, too much information right? LOL But if you’re a former ostomate, you know what I’m talking about. O-well, the year long ileostomy will live on in my memory as one of the very few positive aspects of my….journey.

All funds raised will go towards medical bills and other healthcare related activities. Although I have insurance, 75% of the cancer treatments and drugs administered were NOT covered so, fighting for my life basically wiped us out and we no longer have a life savings and are almost bankrupt.

So…….I created a store / shop where I can sell merchandise (MERCH) to help raise funds to go towards the……..bills. Oh, and I will also be adding Teresa’s awesome jewelry to the store just as soon as she gets everything priced and, photographed. Like she says, “hey, every little bit helps”. Very True!
